To all that make it happen...

sometimes we fail to give them the recognition that they deserve. So many organizations and individuals give of their time and resources to make the Skyfest possible. This page is to recognize ALL that contribute and to say, Thank-you! Without your help the air show would not be the huge success that we see each and every year.

We are pleased to announce that Circle K has again agreed to be our advance ticket sales outlet. It is so GREAT to have a civic-minded business like this! It takes a lot of effort and time for a business to assist with something like our Skyfest. Advance sales are so important to any event. We just can't thank Circle K enough for their help. Let's all give them a big THANKS and let them know we appreciate their support! Circle K locations in Augusta, GA.

A special thanks to the Augusta Convention and Visitor's Bureau. They go out of their way to attract out of town guests to our show. They help assist our participants in getting better rates at local motels and hotels. They also provide bags of goodies and information for the participants and guests. If you're coming in from out of town, contact them and see what they have to offer.

What would we do without all of the volunteers? Over 400 people help each year, and some of them get started in December planning next year's event! This years Volunteer Coordinator is Tracy Gay. If you should need more information, feel free to complete the online form.

Vendors, if you are interested in having your business provide services or to be a food vendor at the 2007 Skyfest, here are links to the vendor agreements:  ãCommercial Vendor Agreement Formã and ãFood Vendor Agreement Formã.  If you should have any additional questions regarding Commercial and/or Food Vendor information, please direct them to Becky Shealy or contact Doug Rhodes the Director of Vending Operations at 706-833-1233.

The Augusta Aviation Commission and the Daniel Field General Aviation Commission give us their unfailing support and direction and without them, there would be no show.

Erol Hamm and Time Transportation & Leasing, Inc. has provided us with golf carts. The air show covers a lot of ground and the logistics of running it would be next to impossible without the use of Erol's golf carts.

Each year, hundreds of Boy Scouts camp out at the Boshears Skyfest. They provide numerous and invaluable services for the air show. We are honored by their presence and welcome them each year. Civil Air PatrolWe are highly appreciative of the Civil Air Patrol, GA Wing. As at all air shows, airplanes must be in motion at some point in time. This movement, coupled with thousands of people, who sometimes don't realize the dangers that accompany the movement of aircraft, could lead to some serious accidents. Enter the CAP. They accompany every moving aircraft, keeping our patrons out of harms way. Also, they politely monitor the fact that there is no smoking allowed around the aircrafts. We are lucky to have a squadron stationed right here at Daniel Field.

As you can see, a lot of folks contribute a considerable amount of time and expense to make this show a success. To all of those wonderful folks, our sponsors, vendors, and anyone else we may have over looked we say, Thank-you!
