Charlie Kulp, aka Silas the Flying Farmer and his Piper J-3 Cub. Charlie has been creating thrills and laughter for over three decades demonstrating his skillful aerobatics in the sky. September 20, 2007 the Flying Farmer of Virginia turned 82. |

A local pilot, he grew
up in North Augusta, SC, and a
member of EAA Chapter 172, Greg performed his first airshow maneuvers at the
2006 Boshears Skyfest.
Greg's first flight
instructor was none other than
Al Patton
and also a protégé of Gary Ward,
In addition Greg serves part-time on the crew for the Ward Airshow

For several years now, we have had an extraordinary car show at the air show. It has been a huge success! Everyone loves it. There are so many spectacular cars on display, all types, shapes, and sizes. You can see everything from the powerful muscle car to the sleek vintage vehicle. The Car Show is scheduled for Sunday, October 22, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Check back as more information will be posted about this event. |
